Theory and Aural Lessons

Service Description

Music Theory and Music Aural are often treated as an 'add-ons' or afterthoughts, but they are both absolutely pivotal if you want to maximise your potential as a performer or a music academic, whatever the genre. We offer theory lessons to take students through ABRSM examinations from Grade 1 to 8, but we can also deliver targeted guidance, for example studying music analysis or harmony and counterpoint (as required at some universities). Our lessons will prepare you to feel comfortable with the aural tests which are a part of both ABRSM and Trinity examinations. We can also teach according to Kodaly method or the French Solfège system.
